Final Fantasy Cosplay

Aerith Gainsborough, the gentle natured flower girl from the Final Fantasy VII game, is well suited for cosplayers who can pull of the motherly and innocent aura this character gives off.  Aerith’s costume did not go through a re-design for the Advent Children movie (death kind of puts a halt to wardrobe changes) so her most common costume is still the red and pink outfit she had for the original Final Fantasy 7 game. Though Crisis Core and Kingdom Heart Aerith cosplays are other options as well.

Cosplaying as Aerith is much easier than some of the other FF7 characters. Finding a long wooden rod or pole to use for Aerith’s staff should be easy enough to do for any cosplayer. A straw or wicker basket for flowers is another alternate accessories if carrying a big stick around a convention hall isn’t your thing. So the most important parts of Aerith’s costume comes down to her wig and her jacket and dress. To complete the image, accessorise with the right boots, hair bow and bracelets.
