Final Fantasy Cosplay

Rikku is Yuna’s younger cousin and the most thief-like character of the characters playable in Final Fantasy X.   Her attitude is  also childish and a bit selfish, but Rikku is also quite cheerful and positive in most situations, making her character very similar to that of Yuffie from FF7.  In battle, Rikku uses a variety of claw-like weapons in quick and agile attacks.  Her Final Fantasy 10 costume is made up primarily of a brown sleeveless top and green short. Accessories include her dangling blue scarf, various belts and holsters, straps, gloves and goggles. After Rikku made a come back in Final Fantasy X-2, mmst cosplayers tend to choose Rikku’s X-2 costume as it was more colorful and had far fewer details than her original outifit. That said, her X-2 costume is also quite skimpy, consisting of a simple yellow bikini top, brown/green shorts and white frilly cut-out sleeves.  Her accesories include her blue head wrap, fingerless gloves, her distinctive bright yellow/orange scarf, and a simple yellow/brown belt with two pouches attached.  Most of the costume is easy enough to make yourself, though finding the right scarf and getting those sleeves right may be a challenge. Unless you want to spend an entire day doing your hair, I recommend buying a wig to emulate Rikku’s unique hair style.
